PLA activities in the waters and airspace around Taiwan

1.Date：
 6 to 6 a.m. (UTC+8) Sunday to Monday, Dec. 17-18 

2.PLA activities：
6 PLA aircraft and 2 PLAN vessels around Taiwan were detected by 6 a.m.(UTC+8) today. 1 of the detected aircraft had entered Taiwan’s southwest ADIZ. R.O.C. Armed Forces have monitored the situation and tasked CAP aircraft, Navy vessels, and land-based missile systems to respond these activities.

3.PLA balloon：
Two PRC’s balloons were detected at 09:03 and 14:43 respectively yesterday after crossing the median line of the Taiwan Strait at the location 110 nautical miles northwest of Keelung and altitude of approximately 27,000 feet. The balloons headed east and disappeared at 09:36 and 16:35 respectively.
